Litigation support pricing: per project or on retainer.
Hire us for a single project, or keep us on a monthly retainer. One monthly retainer covers litigation support, applications development and technology advisory, at a better rate than buying each separately. We quote after a short scoping call.
Three common scopes, or a custom one.
These are the engagement types we run most often. Price and delivery date depend on volume, deadline, and the matter. We quote both on the scoping call.

Ongoing access to all five services.
For firms that want Legal1Up on call for ongoing work. One monthly retainer covers litigation support (discovery, motions, depositions, trial prep and joint appendices), applications development and technology advisory, without re-scoping every matter from zero. It costs less than buying each separately.
- Access across all five service areas
- Priority scheduling for active matters
- Large one-off projects can still be quoted separately
Retainer size depends on expected volume and which services you use most. We quote after a short scoping call.

How do you price the work?
We quote each project after a short scoping call, or set a monthly retainer for ongoing work. You know the price before we start. If the scope changes partway through, we agree on the change with you before doing the extra work.
What happens on the scoping call?
You describe the matter and what you need. We ask about volume, deadline, and the format you want. Then we send a quote and a delivery date. Simple matters often get the quote on the call. Larger ones usually get it within one business day.
Do you require a retainer or minimum?
You can buy a single engagement with no retainer and no minimum monthly spend. If you want ongoing access across discovery, motion drafting, depositions, trial prep, and joint appendices, we also offer a monthly retainer, sized to the volume you expect. A retainer is usually the most cost-effective option, because it covers litigation support, applications development and technology advisory at a better rate.
What about rush turnarounds?
We confirm the delivery date when we accept the scope. Rush is available; the fee and date are quoted with the scope. We only accept rush work we can deliver, and we will tell you up front if we can't meet a date.
Confidentiality and conflict checks
Every engagement starts with a conflict check against our active matters. We sign your NDA or work under ours, whichever you prefer. All work happens in encrypted environments, and we don't use client work to train external models.
Get a quote, or discuss a retainer.
After the scoping call you get a quote, a delivery date, and one point of contact. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
